He also began to experiment with radio evangelism, with a program called "Telephone Time." From there Stevens went on to minister at the Woolwich-Wiscasset Baptist Church, and establish the Northeast School of the Bible in 1972.

Stevens was later ordained by a council of independent ministers at the Montsweag Baptist Church on March 7, 1963.

Evangelism, raps (devotionals, or informal Q&A meetings, usually following sermons, but also held at various times throughout the week, most notably during lunch hour), and informal Bible study are also considered important acts of worship. An "offering song" is also sung during the taking of the offering, which is often sung by a member of the congregation who is not a regular member of the worship team, or by one of the churches choirs. Songs are usually contemporary, but classical hymns are also sung on account of the wide range of ages among members. Worship is non-liturgical but is generally structured as follows: (singing) announcements, worship (singing), offering, opening prayer, sermon, closing prayer/benediction/alter call,(singing) closing announcements. Jesus will fill him with the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will use him to do great things for God and be a blessing. If anyone would come to Jesus and believe, he will receive. The rivers of living water flowing out of the believer referred to the Holy Spirit filling our lives (our spirit man) and flowing through us. Jesus would cause rivers of living water to flow out from the being of those who would come and drink. Jesus (The true Tabernacle -John 1:1,14) stood up on the last day of the Feast and cried out loudly that if any man is thirsty let him come to Him and drink. At that feast they celebrated the Tabernacle, the presence of God, the Holy Spirit. The Jews had gathered at Jerusalem from around the nation to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
